Research Progress of Inhibitor Regulating in Grain-oriented Silicon Steel Prepared by Short-process

    • Grain-oriented silicon steel, as a key material for electrical equipment, is experiencing an increasing demand in today's society with the dramatic rise in power energy consumption. The current research status of short-process production of grain-oriented silicon steel both domestically and foreignly was reviewed. The technical challenges faced in the regulation of suppressant agents in short-process production of grain-oriented steel, as well as the future development trends were pointed out. Specifically, the utilization of composition design and process control to obtain sufficient suppressant particles were proposed, which could exert enough pinning force on other grains during the secondary recrystallization process, resulting in single-oriented Goss grains. Furthermore, the prospects of emerging technologies such as electromagnetic stirring and magnetic field heat treatment in the regulation of suppressant agents for grain-oriented silicon steel were briefly discussed, aiming to provide references for the research on suppressant agent regulation in the short-process production of high-performance grain-oriented silicon steel.
