Abstract:
The hot rolled high strength steel with different martensite volume fraction and different strength grade was obtained by adjusting the controlled rolling and controlled cooling process parameters. The effects of martensite volume fraction on the mechanical properties and wear resistance of materials were studied by metallographic microscope, scanning electron microscope, electronic tensile tester, Brinell hardness tester and wet rubber rimmed wheel tester. The results show that when the volume fraction of martensite increases by 10%, the yield strength of the material increases by 93.19 MPa, the tensile strength i ncreases by 101.10 MPa, the yield strength ratio increases by 0.02, the surface Brinell hardness increases by 26.59 HBW, while the elongation decreases by 1.70%.The wear resistance of the material is positively correlated with the martensite volume fraction, and the average wear resistance of the material is increased by 6.27%for every 10%increase of martensite volume fraction.
