Abstract:
Cu-Al composite plates often require further plastic processing to adapt to different usage scenarios. Taking the four-layer Cu-Al composite plate of CuCrZr/8011Al/1060Al/CuCrZr as the object, the influence of warm rolling lubrication conditions on the coordinated deformation, microstructure and properties was studied. By designing the 300 ℃ warm rolling process and selecting high viscosity and high flash point rolling oil, the interlayer reduction rate deviation was controlled below 0.4%, effectively eliminating interface cracking and Al layer trailing defects. The results show that under the rolling oil lubrication condition, the tensile strength of the warm rolled composite plate can reach 293 MPa, and the electrical conductivity remains at 76.3%IACS. CuCrZr/8011Al interface exhibits straight and continuous characteristics with the formation of Al
4Cu
9 and Al
2Cu intermetallic compound layers. The interface hardness can reach 97 HV, and the interface bonding strength can reach 35 MPa. After warm rolling, the dislocation density of the composite increases, the grain orientation changes and the grain orientation with distinct <111> direction parallel to the rolling plane normal (
Z0) appears. The partial of Cu layer grains grow, and the grains of the Al layer refine, which has a significant effect on the control of the microstructure and properties of the composite plate. This study provides process optimization strategies and foundations for enhancing coordinated deformation and comprehensive properties in high-strength, high-conductivity Cu-Al composite plates.
