Abstract:
In order to prepare a high conductivity and corrosion resistance coating on the surface of the aluminum alloy, FeCoNiCr high-entropy alloy coating was prepared by electrodeposition technology. The effects of current density, pH value of the bath, bath temperature and chromium sulfate concentration on the surface quality and composition of the coating were studied. The phase of the coating was determined by XRD. Electrochemical corrosion test and electrical conductivity test verify that the coating prepared through the optimal process exhibits both high conductivity and excellent corrosion resistance. The optimal process parameters are as follows: current density of 3 A/dm
2, pH value of 3, bath temperature of 25 ℃, and chromium sulfate concentration of 250 g/L. It is found that the surface quality of the coating is related to Cr content. When Cr content is highest, the surface quality of the coating is best, and no holes and cracks are found on the surface of the coating.
