Abstract
The numerical simulation method was used to analyze the low-pressure die casting process of one-mold four-piece automobile aluminum alloy calipers, and the possible shrinkage cavity and porosity and their position distribution in the calipers were predicted, and the formation reasons were analyzed. On this basis, the cooling scheme was improved and the process parameters were optimized based on orthogonal experiments. The results show that the optimized aluminum alloy calipers have no shrinkage cavity and porosity, and the solidification time is reduced by 33%.
