Research Status of Laser Cladding Coating Materials

Cermet and high entropy alloys have the advantages of good thermal stability, high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance, which has become the new research points in the coating field. Laser cladding technology is one of the methods to obtain high performance coating. The latest research progress of laser cladding coating materials was reviewed.The research status of preparing cermet and high entropy alloy coatings on substrate surface by laser cladding technology was discussed. The related technical problems and properties of cladding cermet and high entropy alloy coatings were introduced,and its future development trend was analyzed.
